31 ] Blender 3D: Quick Start The other way of making transformations to objects is using keyboard shortcuts. We can use these shortcuts to quickly transform any object. These are the shortcuts: Key Action G Grab (Move) R Rotate S Scale In addition to these shortcuts, we can constrain the transformation to an axis with the use of more shortcuts. If just after pressing one of the shortcuts above, we can press X, Y, or Z keys to constrain the transformation to the respective axis. For example, if we press R key and then press Z, the selected object will rotate only in the Z-axis.

Cone: Here, we can create a cone-like object, just like the Cylinder. If we define a lower number of sides, other types of objects can be created, such as pyramids.
